Filipino actress Xyriel Manabat began her career as child actress after finishing third runner-up in the talent search program Star Circle Kid Quest.[1] After playing several appearances in a number of television programs, she had her breakthrough role in the 2010 fantasy drama series Agua Bendita.[2] The same year, she played the title character in the fantasy drama series Momay and played a supporting role in the series Noah.[3][4] In late 2010, Manabat made her screen debut at age 6 as Monay Montecillo in the dramedy Ang Tanging Ina Mo (Last na 'To!).
Her portrayal received praises from the critics, earning her accolades for Best Child Actress at the FAMAS Awards, Movie Child Performer of the Year at the PMPC Star Awards for Movies and Best Child Performer at the Metro Manila Film Festival.[5][6]
